French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust is a "community-based organization whose mission is to preserve, steward, and connect people to the land in northern Chester County". Founded in 1967, FPCCT has permanently preserved 13,135 acres and counting! Their inspiring Stand for the Land Campaign focuses on "providing people, preserving land, and protecting water".

Did you know? A 2018 CAP study found that only 12% of U.S. land area has been conserved as national parks, wilderness areas, permanent conservation easements, state parks, national wildlife refuges, national monuments, or other protected areas.
